A Logan - Veronica fan video :) My first ever attempt at making a fanvid. And of course it should be about LoVe. I love everything about Veronica Mars, it's one of my favorite shows ever :D

Nothing special about the video, just a collection of scenes, etc. (I hope someday I can learn how to make cool videos in Sony Vegas)

Ode to Pocketbooks

Adik ka ba sa tagalog pocketbooks? Tara kwentuhan. HAHA.

I promise this would be long & I'm sorry for ranting, masyado lang kasi akong naooverwhelm eh xD At sorry din kung lumabas (lalabas) man ang pagiging hopeless romantic ko :)) At at at, wag niyo na lang basahin kung 'di rin kayo masyado interested sa PB, di kayo makakarelate (no offense meant, baka lang akalain niyo loka-loka na 'ko)

Lately, naaadik na NAMAN ako sa pocketbooks, idk what trigger my addiction to resurface, basta it happened. I remember this started with My Cheating Heart, in trying to search for the book and not finding one, bigla akong napabili ng Rose Tattoo by the same author (Martha Cecilia), though nabasa ko na ang RT, that didn't stop me, basta I told myself na I need to read a PB! :)

I've been Martha Cecilia's fan for 8 or 9 years na? Yes, ganun ng katagal. I remember reading Kristine Series when I was in grade 4 (or was it grade 5?), impluwensiya ni Jazel (sana mabasa mo 'to). & that time, boy was I hooked. Would you believe me if I tell you na during that time kahit gabi na and patay na ang lights ay nagbabasa pa ko? No wonder lumabo ang mata ko (500 ang grado), 'yun talaga yung reason kung bakit bulag na 'ko ngayon eh, haha.

Anyway, nakakatuwang isipin na sa murang edad pa lang adik na 'ko, at I'm so thankful na kumpleto si Jazel sa series (nasa 34+ na ata yung nabasa ko and that was back in 2001 pa), and thankful din na inintroduce niya sa'kin ang KS. I think that led me to being a hopeless romantic, btw who wouldn't?

But sadly, after ng grade school, nag-iba na ng school si Jazel (:(), and that signaled the end for KS & the pocketbook era for me, pero ngayon nga, nagbabalik na naman!

After reading Rose Tattoo, naalala ko yung feeling ng pagbabasa at naalala ko din yung mga stories sa KS na nagustuhan ko, and I decided na kailangan kong mabili yung iba pang mga books! Not all though (nasa 53 na ata lahat yung books), yung mga type ko lang na story xD

Usapang Kristine Series

Gagawan ng tv adaptation ng ABS ang KS. Ang alam ko pa lang is si Christine Reyes will play the role of Jewel, which I think is okay naman (though dapat maypagkamorena si Jewel) kasi I like her sa My Cheating Heart. Enough of TV adaptation, lol.

Back to the books.

After Rose Tattoo, I bought Hasta La Proxima Vez. Why? Kasi favorite male character ko si Lenny! Ever since kasi bata pa siya, nainlove na 'ko sa character niya. The first time na nabasa ko ang HLPV, I was disappointed, ewan ko, I was hoping na magiging sobrang ganda nung story, pero bitin, o masyado lang akong nagexpect, I let my hopes up. Still, that didn't stop me from buying and re-reading the book. Kasi nga crush ko si Lenny 'di ba?

& then I remember the story that I loved most. Blue-Eyed Devil. Ito na ata yung pinakafavorite ko sa lahat. The story caught me by surprise, and because of it minahal ko si Renz, haha. Ang salawahan lang 'di ba? Kasi naman mas nadevelop yung character ni Renz kesa kay Lenny xD

Favorite character: Renz Lenny; Favorite story: Blue Eyed Devil. Lol. Pero infairness, Fortalejo si Lenny & Navarro naman si Renz, so okay lang kahit pareho ko silang gusto. Jeez, ang fan girl pa rin ng dating.

Sadly wala na 'kong makitang copy ng BED sa bookstores, and then I learned na may branch pala ng PHR malapit lang sa may amin, and man was I tempted to rush dun para lang mamakyaw ng PBs, buti na lang napigilan ko sarili ko, kasi dineclare ko na, "magiging collection ko ang Kristine Series", kahit na wala akong pera, I'll complete it no matter what (to think na super kuripot ko).

Tapos kinagabihan, nalaman namin ni Lyn, na may collection pala yung pinsan ko (Ate Ineng) ng KS! Imagine my happiness! Pero loneliness na din, kasi that means hindi na 'ko magcocollect, kasi meron na 'kong mahihiraman TT (pero bibili pa din ako nung iba!! lol).

So now, walang kasawaang pagbabasa ang ginagawa ko. At naimpluwensyahan ko pa si Buling :)).

One thing I realize, mas gusto/mahal ko ang story ng mga Navarro as compared to the Fortalejo's, pero I love them both (:

Top favorite characters: Lenny, Renz, James and Lance. haha.

That ends my long rant. Para lang akong baliw. Kasi I told myself na kailangan kong iblurt out yung nararamdaman ko or else I'll end up crazy (yun bang tipong bigla na lang tatawa ng malakas).

And narealize ko lang na Kristine Series will forever be the best pocketbook series, and Martha Cecilia the best PB author, 'di kasi ako nasasatisfy sa work ng iba, lmao.

And BTW, nakabili na ko ng MCH! yay! Though I'll say that the plot in the PB's better, pero the TV adapt.'s great, sana lang nagstick sila sa plot all throughout the drama. Lastly maganda din yung The Substitute Bride (Rafael!!!)

Maraming first.

Last night was like one of the happiest welcoming-the-new-year celebration for me :)

Marami akong bagong naexperience and naging super fun ng pagwelcome ng New Year :)

We had this mini party for the kids (& kids at heart daw) ng angkan (xD) namin, & I got to experience a lot (first time experiencing it):

1. Magsack race at manalo (haha)
2. First time uminom ng SanMig light sa "pabilisang uminom" game (para daw dun sa mga dalaga na hindi umiinom), siyempre natalo ako :))
3. First time kumanta sa karaoke/videoke. First memorable song ni pareng kara = total eclipse of the heart. Second song (na ako lang purely ang kumanta) = When You're Looking Like That. hehe, di naman halatang maka boyband ako? :D
4. Medyo nagiging sociable na 'ko. Yay!

HAPPY NEW YEAR SA LAHAT! Hope na maging okay ang 2010 for all of us ^^

I swear someday, I'll prove that Minwoo & Vanness have lots of traits in common. ^_^. Haha, only proves that I have the same preference in men :)
