Kimi Wa Petto

Wee, though this drama's old, I've only finished it now. Thanks to pao2x for giving me this copy (along with ProDai). I've watched this because of MatsuJun. :D

Synopsis


Smart, successful and good-looking Iwaya Sumire works for a big newspaper. However, her boss asks her to leave for being too "perfect" a woman. Feeling angry and dejected Iwaya returns home depressed, and most of all lonely. However, when she finds an unconscious young man lying in a box out the front of her home and takes him in. He looks like a dog she used to own called Momo. She dubs him Momo and decides to "keep him as a pet." It's the start of an unexpected life together as they overcome obstacles and become quite attached to one another. But can love like this exist? --TBS

My Review

Momo's (Matsumoto Jun) so cute. haha. He really is like a dog. Momo-chan! haha. Even though I'm not so much a fan of MatsuJun now, I can't deny the fact that I like his acting skills. Another great job by MatsuJun. :D

The story's okay, though it isn't that interesting because for me the plot's too simple, it only revolves on the master-pet relationship and stuff. But I have endured watching it - thanks to Momo. haha. Jun looks cute with his curly hair.

My Boss, My Hero

Synopsis



Sakaki Makio (Tomoya Nagase) is the eldest son of a Yakuza Boss. However, no matter how strong he is, there's something lacking, he's a complete baka. To be able to inherit his father's position, he was asked to enroll in Agnes Gakuen and graduate there. He disguised himself as a 17 year old student, when infact he's 27. How will Makio fit into a world of teenagers? Will he be able to hide is identity?


My Review

This reminds me of Gokusen, the plot's similar. Tomoya's a funny man, his facial expressions have kept me laughing. wahaha. The story's crazy as well, haha, especially the pudding part and when Makky has experienced the midget in his heart. LOL

And this is the first series of Tego that I've watched, my brother keeps on telling me that Tego looks soft but I told him that he's not, Tego's cute (I'm liking him). ^^ One thing I've noticed, this is full of JE Boys, ne? One is from Tokio, the other is from NewS, and the last was from Kat-Tun. Kazu's funny, I'm not that familiar with Kat-Tun (I only know Kame and Jin), but Kazu's adorable, he's second to Makky with regards to my laughing meter. hehe.

The story's okay over all. :D

   Maricar is moderately outgoing. Her emotions are stirred by sympathy and heart rendering stories. In fact, she can be kind, friendly, affectionate and considerate of others. She has the ability to put herself into the other person's shoes.

Maricar will be somewhat moody, with highs and lows. Sometimes she will be happy, the next day she might be sad. She has the unique ability to get along equally well with what psychology calls introverts and extroverts. This is because she is in between. Psychology calls Maricar an ambivert. She understands the needs of both types. Although they get along, she will not tolerate anyone that is too "far out." She doesn't sway too far one way or the other.

 Maricar is a practical person whose goals are planned, practical, and down to earth. This is typical of people with normal healthy self-esteem. She needs to visualize the end of a project before she starts. she finds joy in anticipation and planning. Notice that I said she plans everything she is going to do, that doesn't necessarily mean things go as planned. Maricar basically feels good about herself. She has a positive self-esteem which contributes to her success. She feels she has the ability to achieve anything she sets her mind to. However, she sets her goals using practicality-- not too "out of reach". She has enough self-confidence to leave a bad situation, yet, she will not take great risks, as they relate to her goals.  Maricar is very selective when choosing her inner circle of friends. She excludes all but a few from her fellowship. She limits her intimate friends to one or maybe two people. She tends not to trust the masses of people but chooses only a few to trust.

 Maricar is selective when picking friends. She does not trust everyone. She has a select group of people that are truly close to her, usually two or three. She is careful when choosing her inner circle of friends (this is true, spooky).

My Lucky Star (放羊的星星)

One of the best Taiwanese Series I've watched. Therefore, this review would be long. I just love this show.

Synopsis



My Lucky Star is a story about Ah Xing (Yoo Ha Na), a liar and a thief who copies and forge jewelries and Tian Qi (Jimmy Lin), the second son of the owner of E. Shine, a huge jewellery empire, and a world class F1 racer.

One fated day, while Ah Xing was running from the police, she accidentaly bumps into Tian Qi, Tian Qi had thought that Ah Xing has stolen his earring (truth is, it fell when they bumped into each other) and therefore he stopped her, which caused the latter to be caught.

After a year, Ah Xing was released, meanwhile Tian Qi has just gotten back to Taiwan to attend the engagement party of his brother with his (Tian Qi) ex-girlfriend. And again, Tian Qi and Ah Xing have met accidentaly. And this is when the story develops, but then there are many circumstances along the way: how will an ex-convict and an heir match each other? Also there's the presence of Ou Ya Ruo, Tian Qi's ex who's still harbouring feelings for him. Most notable of this is when Tian Qi's brother have died in a car accident and he took all the blame to Ah Xing, hating her.

My Review

Frankly speaking, I've no high expectation of this when I've start watching it. The first episode was okay but then I've thought that it's almost the same as every other shows around. I've thought that it will be just the sappy, overly romantic series where in the leads would just show their sweetness, blah blah.

BUT I WAS WRONG. My Lucky Star is different, it has exceed my expectation, it is beautiful. It is different from the others, though there are similarities with other shows, but it is just exceptional. Yeah, I'll be using that term, I love this series.

If you've only based your opinion on watching the first few episodes, I'd urged you to continue watching it. It's one of the rare series (one would be ISWAK) where in the story picks up after each episode, and where in there's no boring part, where in each episode involves a great scene.

Casts



Jimmy Lin as Tian Qi - I've never liked Jimmy, well I do not hate him but I do not like him either.So you could imagine that before watching this, I'm not that eager on watching him. I've thought that he's not that ideal to act Tian Qi's part, I'll always remember him as the guy from "The Amazing Twins". But, yes there's a but, I've mistaken something again. Jimmy as Tian Qi is perfect. I have high respect of Jimmy now, I admire him. It can't be classified as fan girling, my view of him is more respectable, just like when one looks up to his senpai. I idolized Jimmy Lin. He's one of the best, probably. I don't know what changed my view of him but everytime his face lit the screen, I'm drawn into awe, man this guy can surely act. He magnificently portrayed Tian Qi, and this guy was 34 when he'd filmed this, but everytime I see him he's like in his 20's, haha, plus Tian Qi is supposed to be in his 20's, looks can be deceiving. I find him charming, he's like a kid. Hooray for Jimmy!

Yoo Ha Na as Ah Xing - When I've first seen her, I thought that she was ordinary, but as I see her character grow, I find her cute, and there were a lot of times that I've thought that she looked like someone from a Korean series, and then I've found out yesterday that SHE IS INDEED A KOREAN. I was thinking "Isn't this supposed to be a Taiwanese Drama, what is a Korean doing here?". But Ha Na has done a great job. I was impressed because even though she can't speak and understand Mandarin, she was still able to convey what her character needs to be. They have just dubbed Yoo Ha Na's voice, hehe, that explained why I've felt weird hearing Ah Xing speak Mandarin. LOL. And Ha Na's a crybaby, haha. She and Jimmy has chemistry. :D

The Story Itself



When I've first learned that this is a 20 episode show, I've thought that how can the story be exciting if it stretched on that long? And during the first few episodes when Ah Xing and Tian Qi have gotten along well, I've thought that "Now, what? so they're falling for each other, what will happen later?". I was prepared to witness the same old scene and also the boredom that comes with it. But it never came. Just when I thought that the story would be boring here comes a shocker, there would be always something to look forward to. It even got more exciting when Han Zhi Yin's character was introduced. That was I think in episode 12.

One thing I've noticed in dramas is that they start out right but during the middle part it gets draggy, My Lucky Star is an exemption (I've mentioned it already), wheeew, this is like a 2 season series fused into a single show. During the first half you would see the development between Ah Xing and Tian Qi and during the other, it would be Tian Qi's hatred in Ah Xing, and how these two will realized that they still love each other. It's as if the series is reborn, the second half took place 5 years after the death of Tian Qi's brother, and now the story even presented Han Zhi Yin, who would make Tian Qi jealous. WAHAHA. I've also liked the car race scene, Jimmy can surely drive! And he can sing.

I've told you, this would be long but this is definitely a MUST SEE. My cousin and I, still have a hang over from watching MLS, though the ending isn't that well crafted but it's just a little matter. Even though I've just finished this today, it has become one of my favorites. :D

Tantei Gakuen Q Live Action

I love this series.



Synopsis

A story about a class of genius students of Dan Detective School. Together, they solve crimes that are happening around. Things began to be of interest when they have learned that a group is behind all the murders happening - Pluto.

Members of Class Q:

Kyuu Renjo (Kamiki Ryunosuke) - can be considered the leader of Class Q. A bright and optimistic boy. He's a person with a golden heart. Treasures his friend deeply.

Megumi Minami (Shida Mirai) - the only girl in the class. She has a photographic memory, allowing her to memorize something instantly, however with this great talent she also bears photographic scenes of unfortunate events.

Ryuu Amakusa (Yamada Ryosuke) - A boy genius. He has a cold and mysterious personality but when he had met Class Q, he began to realize the value of friendship. But he has a dark background, it was later revealed in the show that he is related to Pluto.

Kazuma Narusawa (Wakaba Katsumi) - a rich, well known computer games programmer. Better to say a prodigy in this field. He often operates with his laptop.

Kintaro Toyama (Kaname Jun) - the eldest member of class Q. He's the strongest among them.

My Review

I've enjoyed watching this. This is the first series that I've watched on a streaming site. haha. One thing that attracted me is the mystery behind who the suspect is in every episode. I'll admit the plot of some of the cases isn't that great as that of Detective Conan's but it's fairly exciting. And I've guess some of the murderers. HAHA. But the cases are pretty easy, it's obvious.

I love class Q. All of them are good. The actors/actress have acted well. But I am really into Ryuu (Yamada), I don't know if it's his personality or because Yamada's the one acting but he's my favorite. When he was s**b***, I've cried.

Moreover, I like how Kyuu values friendship. Kyuu's selfless, his trust in Ryuu till the end is unbelievable. Their friendship is strong, and from that one can learn a lot. I'll surely miss watching this, I'd still want to see the Kyuu-Megu-Ryuu Love Triangle. ^^

Here's an excerpt of one of my fav. parts (involving Kyuu-Megu-Ryuu):

Ryuu have just gotten out from the hospital, Megu was feeding him, this was the scene when Kyuu, Kinta and Kazuma arrived.

Megu: Here, say aahh
Kinta: Hey, Hey, Since when did you two start having that kind of relationship?
Kyu: Ah, t-that kind of relationship?
Ryuu: Kinta, Kinta it's a misunderstanding, misunderstanding!
Kazuma: To think that Ryuu and Megu were going out.. You got me there.
Kyuu: Going out.. (shocked expression)
Megu: Ryuu, since it came to this, do you want me to announce that we're dating?
Kyuu:Dating...
Ryuu: If you don't stop, I'll get mad.
Megu: Ryuu, you're no fun. He's still in pain, so I was just helping him
Kinta: Oh, that's how it is, huh?
Kazuma: I almost doubted Ryuu's tatse.
Megu: Hey Kazuma, what do you mean by that?
Kazuma: Ah, nothing.

I can't sleep. :( and what I've been up to these days.

Ever had the feeling that you're so sleepy but then when you try to sleep, you just can't?

That's what I'm feeling right now. I was so sleepy kanina but then when I've tried to sleep, I can't. :( I've been sleeping late (12 am +) for the past month. Maybe my body wants to have a break but my mind won't budge. Have a lot of things running in it.

I don't know why, I think I haven't accomplish much this summer break. My routine would be to wake up-eat-watch tv/surf the net-eat-watch tv-eat-watch tv-take a bath-eat-watch tv-sleep. I'm a bum. haaaayyy. All I ever do is to laze around. I wouldn't be surprised if by the start of classes I'd be a pig. LOL

What am I up to these days (for those who are asking):

I'm watching My Lucky Star and it's good. haha.

I'm also watching Tantei Gakuen Q LA (series) and is currently on the last episode. I'm gonna miss watching it.

I've finally downloaded Last Friend's first episode but instead of watching it whole, I've just forwarded it to the scene where in Sousuke(Ryo) was beating Michiru up. Waaa, that's really scary, Ryo's scary. And also I happened to look through the last scene and I've seen Ruka kissing Michiru, that was sweet, I love Ueno's character. ^^

My internet connection's pretty bad, some sites wouldn't open up. And it's irritating because I've been dl-ing things for about 4 hours then it would just stop. Grrrr. I think there's a problem with DSL. That's why I've temporarily stop surfing the net.

Finally, I'm writing these stuff because I can't sleep. :( My Life's boring. haha

Nodame Cantabile SP

I couldn't say more since I think I've praised the series more than enough (just looked through my reviews), but the special is more exceptional. A good closure as I would say.

Synopsis



Nodame and Chiaki goes to Paris! The first part focuses on Chiaki (Tamaki Hiroshi) auditioning for a Conducting Competition. Will he be able to win?

The second part then shows Nodame (Ueno Juri) struggling to live through the Music Academy (in Paris) while learning to improve her piano skills. She will be then asked to perform her first ever recital. Aside from this, will Chiaki and Nodame's relationship grow?

My Review

This would be short, I promise. LOL. This SP is so satisfying. I totally love it. It's wicked. Yeah, most of the parts are exciting especially when Chiaki was at the Conducting Competition. And as always this is so funny. This never fails to make me laugh.

And I think I'm loving Ueno Juri(Nodame). She's great. I'm so fascinated by her, by her acting. I'm a fan of her. And I think this is the first series that I've truly liked the lead female more than the lead male. She's brilliant. I'm always looking forward to see her on screen.

And about the ending, it's perfect. No more no less. Nodame Cantabile is good, very good. :D I wouldn't give spoilers, but i'll share some SC's.

Heavenly Forest

So I said I won't watch a drama show (in this case a movie). Yet, I've watched this. And again there are tears falling from my eyes. Have watched this because of a recommendation from a friend (thanks sis cindy).



I'm too lazy to make a synopsis so I'll just say it plainly. The story revolves around Makoto (Tamaki Hiroshi) and Shizuru (Aoi Miyuki), both have first met during college. Shizuru isn't your average girl she's perhaps a weirdo while Makoto isn't that cool too, he's so shy. Makoto's a photographer and he introduced this to Shizuru. Things began to get complicated when Makoto was drawn to a group of "cool people" which includes his crush Miyuki. So I'll stop here.

My Review

The story's beautiful. And as expected it has "that" ending, I thought I wouldn't cry but I did. At first, I wasn't that interested in watching but as I continued, things began to get pretty good.

One thing I've noticed, Tamaki looks like Toma-kun in here, I don't know but everytime I see him I remember Toma. But I prefer Tamaki as Chiaki (Nodame) than Makoto.
I'm a little frustrated in this film because I feel that Shizuru's so pitiful, I know she's happy at how things ended but I would have liked it more if she and Makoto have their "moment". The ending's great, the part where in Makoto is in the gallery and the time where in he sees the "photograph", ahh and the words ~ that was sweet. I can't talk more. This movie's nice.

Tantei Gakuen Q Live Action - Ending Theme

As stated, this is the ending theme for Tantei Gakuen LA. I think I'm obsessed with this, yama-chan! kawaii, maybe I'll just treat him as my younger brother, but he's so adorable in this vid. :D

Tantei Gakuen (Detective School) Q Live Action Special

I'm happy. :D At long last I've found something interesting to watch. I like Detective Stories. This reminds me of Detective Conan (which is my favorite anime).

Synopsis



The Special comes first before the series.

The story started with Kyuu Renjo(Ryunosuke Kamiki). Kyuu dreams to be a detective and so he decided to enroll in Dan's Detective School. The special focuses on how Kyuu, together with his to-be friends (Megumi, Ryuu, Kazuma and Kinta), will be able to pass the examinations to enter DDS.

My Review

This special's good. I've thouroughly enjoyed watching this, I'm such a fan of detective stories (I've already mentioned it, haha). There's no dull moment. Plus the characters are all adorable.

I especially like Ryuu(Yamada Ryosuke), waaa his character is so loveable, the mysterious and silent type, and Yamada's so cute!!! He's a cutie. If only he isn't younger than me(he's only 14), gyaaaaa ~ I think I'm already a fan of his. Kyuu's cute also, his character's funny and his mind is unbelievable. And I know this series is about kids, but well I love to see Ryuu - Megumi - Kyuu! Yey, hope it will develop into a love triangle. And the last scene where in Ryuu accepted Megu's invitation (originally intended for Kyuu), waa I think I'll faint, that was so sweet.

And because of watching the special, I'll watch the series soon, I think I'll watch it now. I'm looking forward to the cases. :D

Romantic Princess

Yey, have finished this at long last. The story's pretty okay, I was expecting more but well it's okay.


Synopsis

Xiao Mai (Angela Zhang) has lived a normal life, living with her parents, while at the same time dreaming to become rich. One day, she was shocked to learn that she was the lost granddaughter of Huangfu Xiong, the richest man in Asia. How will she adopt to the life of the rich? Will she be able to find true love.

Here's the story like Cinderella, the term "from rags to riches" propery suits this drama. Also included in the cast are Wu Zun and Calvin Chen of Fahrenheit.

My Review

I've known of this since last year, but I only have the chance to watch it now, that was I think October when I've watched its first episode, and when I've seen the opening theme, I was screaming my heart out, darn Chun's so hot, he's like a girl's Prince Charming.

The story's good, hmm, but not that great. Certainly everytime Chun is there it makes a girl go crazy, sobrang kinikilig na ang mga tao. However, I'm not really in for that part. The story's pretty cheesy, I could have tolerated it but then there's too much romantic parts and kissing scenes. I think it just spoils everything, I have appreciated it during the first few episodes but then the more that I see it, I just shrugged my shoulder and cover my eyes, I'm not a fan of mushy series. Hey, for Chun fans out there, don't get angry with me, we all have our own opinions, I'm also a fan of his.

About Chun, haaay, what more can I say? His mere presence is enough to attract attention, but acting wise I think he needs improvement, they should give him more challenging roles. I think I'm liking Calvin's character more. I don't know, at first I didn't even have to think of him but as the story develops, Cai's like one's ideal guy, too bad the story doesn't involved him falling inlove with Xiao Mai.

Enough of my rant, the series so funny, haha. I especially like Sen Chuan and Xiao Mai's grandfather and also Lin. wahaha. They give life to the story. To end this, I'm not discouraging you to watch this, you should try it, hmmm, maybe I'm just not in the mood for over romantic series. hehe. Try it for yourself and then tell me what you think of it. Arggh, these are just some of the effects of this series on me. I have been warned before watching this that this isn't just a drama, but how can I let such a good drama pass? And this is the first Ryo-drama that I've watched.

Okay, so everybody's right, the title "One Litre of Tears" is such an understatement, I feel that I've cried buckets because of this.

Synopsis

Aya Ikeuchi (Erika Sawijiri) is your normal 15-year old girl, however lately "things" have been happening to her. She keeps on falling down, and isn't able to walk properly. It was then found out that Aya's suffering from a disease called >Spinocerebellar Degeneration- a disease where in it leaves the victim unable to speak, walk, eat, etc. How will Aya and everyone around her cope up with this?

What's even more heart breaking about this, is the story's based on the real life struggles of Aya. The story/script is based on the Diary that she has written until the time that she can't even write. The book, entitled "One Litre of Tears" has sold a lot of copies in Japan and elsewhere (I think).

My Review/Reasons to Watch this:



1. The story's great (though it's so sad), I'm sure all of those who have watched it has been touched on Aya's struggle.

2. You'll definitely cry buckets of tears. OMG, when I've first watch its first episode, I've already cried, actually I've cried at all episodes, and I'm still in a shock now.

3. You'll learn to appreciate the value of "living", what I mean is waking up in the morning is a lot to be thankful for.

4. All of the characters have acted well. Aya's so pitiful but she's so kawaii nonetheless, I pity Aya so much.

5. I love Asou-kun(Nishikido Ryo). Ryo acting as Asou is the best role for him. It suited him well. I'm crying whenever he cries. I always imagined Ryo as the "Asou" kind of guy. I guess I'm liking Ryo, haha.

6. Though 1LoT is full of crying, there are still funny parts. One of my most loved character is Aya's dad. He's so funny. HAHA (makes watching it less dramatic)

7. I think I love everything about the story, though I already know what will happen in the end, I've still cried.

8. This has made my eyes hurt badly. I have difficulty keeping my eyes open.

9. The part where in they show the true Aya has made me cry also.

10. If you want to cry nonstop, watch this okay? If ever you would not cry, I think there is something wrong with you.

I couldn't add more, I'm still shocked and I'm not in the condition to think straight. Glad that I'm not that depressed before watching this or else I would have break down. hehe. I think I'll watch the SP some other time, I couldn't tolerate myself crying again, and I think I'll take a break from watching heavy dramas. But this is a must see.

Yatta, I've watched the SP, though it's more on the fashbacks, but I still cry (thoug a little this time)

Last word: Ryo/Asou, you just have to cry, and you know what? I'll cry too. I've noticed that Ryo chan's eyes are so expressive. :D

Nodame Cantabile

HAHA. This series is so funny. I've totally enjoyed Nodame Cantabile. Even though before I've found orchestra's boring and I'm not even an inch interested in Classical Music but through watching this, I've seen these things in a new light.

Synopsis
Just a little background of the story for you.

This series revolves around students studying at Momogaoka College of Music. Nodame (Ueno Juri) is a piano student at this school, she's a very talented pianist but she dreams to become a kindergarten teacher someday. However, she's kind of stubborn, she isn't that serious in playing, she only do what she likes, and aside from that she is a messy type of gal, she seldom takes a bath, and she lives in a house of trash. hehe

Meanwhile, Chiaki Shinichi (Tamaki Hiroshi) is Momogaoka's top student, he plays the piano and the violin. He dreams to be a conductor someday. Things got more exciting after Chiaki and Nodame's accidental meeting. :D

Reasons to Watch This/My Review

1. You're in for a laughtrip, every episode's so so funny, especially their facial expressions.
2. The Music used are great. Even though you aren't a fan of Mozart, Beethoven and the like, you'll learn to appreciate it more.



3. Nodame's so kawaii and funny. HAHA. I love her, she's so adorable, I'm moved by her character.
4. Chiaki's one hell of a musician, I'm a fan of his, he's such a genius. Plus Tamaki's acting is great. I wouldn't have imagined him making those facial expressions. HAHAHA
5. There are no boring parts.
6. All the characters are lovable.
7. You've got to know stuff about musicians.
8. The drama's touching, I've cried at some parts.
9. Makes one aspire to become a musician (well it worked for me)
10. The piano part is awesome.

There are still a lot more, but I'll leave it to you, just watch it okay? For music lovers, try this. :) I'm gonna watch the SP soon (will watch One Litre of Tears first)

Yey, nakapunta din ako sa Quiapo! at ang aking hinanakit. T_T

Haha. Sa wakas natunton ko din ang bilihan ng mga dvd sa Quiapo. Hay naku, nakailang punta din ata ako sa Quiapo bago ko matuklasan ang paraiso ng mga pirated na dibidi. mwahaha.

Buti naman, at ayun tatlong dibidi ang nabili ko. My Lucky Star, Romantic Princess at Honey and Clover, binili ko na sila kesa naman idownload ko, baka start na ng pasukan di pa rin ako nakakatapos mag download. Mura lang naman, P50 kada dvd.

Grabe, para akong nalulunod sa dvd nung pumunta ako, kahit saan ako tumingin yun at yun ang nakikita ko, buti na lang nakontrol ko ang sarili ko. WAHAHA

 

Anyway, kaya naman ako napadpad sa Quiapo ay dahil sa nanggaling ako sa UP, nagpasa ng STFAP application at form sa DORM, alas tres na ko nakarating ng UP at kadarating ko lang sa bahay, ngayon ngayon lang.

Medyo depress ako, kasi bakit ba naman may mga ganung klase ng tao, antaas taas ng tingin ko sa kanila tapos pala halos katulad din ng iba. Akala ko sila yung mas nakakaunawa, pero wala din pala. Mahirap na ang umasa. Buti na lang nalaman ko agad, at least ngayon mas namotivate akong ayusin ang buhay ko. Hindi ako galit, naghihinanakit lang, hayaan nila, maipapakita ko din balang araw na kaya ko. Na mali ang ginawa nilang panghuhusga, hindi naman ako nagbago. Hindi naman sa salita naidadaan ang lahat diba?

Ikuta Toma Fanvid

This is the best Toma fanvid that I've seen. I'm crying all throughout the duration of the video.

I miss Toma, how I wish he'll debut soon. Such a great talent.

Yeah, I've failed programming, it's official.

I should have cried, but I'm not in the mood, I've been expecting this long before. Maybe Computer Engineering isn't for me. I hate computer programming. But still I'm depressed.

So I'm really shifting to Industrial Engineering then.

Bye Bye EEE Dep't, welcome IE! But I think "me" graduating under a EEE course has a lot more potential of me having a job in Japan since Computer is a lot more in demand these days, but I'll shift to IE. Is engineering the right thing for me??

Never Ending Wonderful Story (Concert)

This is the first concert of NewS that I've watched. Due to Yamapi's power over me, I'm finding myself engrossed in everything that he's into. BTW, I would like to thank my sis, jhocel(eunjae) for giving me the link to this concert.

First Impression on NewS:

I'm not that familiar with NewS, all I know is that Yamapi's in it, and before I've watched this, I've researched a little about them.
And also, I've only heard a few songs of them but I like it so it's also one of the reasons why I've watched this.

Reactions while watching:

The concert's great plus the behind the scenes footages where so funny. Even though I've heard most of the songs in it for the first time, I think I'm liking it, and with regards to the flying stunt, I was shocked. I think Ryo's the first one to do that, and when I've seen it I was so perplexed, I was like "He's flying", wahaha. So dumb of me.
Here are some of the things that I've noticed and felt:

1. For me Tego's the best singer in the band. I don't know, but his voice is so great.

2. Ryo's the best dresser in the group, I like his fashion get ups, or is it because anything that Ryo wears looks good on him?

3. I have a hard time figuring who's Tego and who's Massu. I have only mastered it after I think an hour of watching it, and I even look through my files just to check it out.

4. Their costumes are weird. hehe. But I know it's a part of being in JE.

5. Most of the time, I'm staring on Ryo's face. LOL

6. I love how the group treats each other. ^^

7. Koyama + Shige = terrible laughing madness.

8.Massu's got the brightest/warmest smile ever, his smile is so genuine and i think it can cheer up anyone around

9. Ryo's a brat and he's evil, but I like it. HAHA

10. I think I'm liking NewS. :D

11. I still like Yamapi, next would be Ryo, and then Tegoshi.

Parts that have left me Laughing:

1. When a fan ask Ryo for a kiss, and then Ryo has said this funny things and then he gave her a flying kiss, OMG, my heart's beating rather fast after that part

2.The part where in Koyama and Shige were in their room, and the they have turned it into a dancing hall, singing Massu's song and Yamapi's Daite Senorita, that was so funny, I have to catch my breath. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

3. When some of the members were singing "Yeah, Yeah" at the top of their lungs, and then it hit me that their imitating Ryo's song "Code".

4. The part where in they showed the footages where in the group is eating, and then Ryo (evil, haha) keeps on feeding Shige, wahaha. And also the part where in Tegoshi keeps on saying "Oishii", and then Yamapi follows right after, and finally Ryo does it too. WAHAHA.



This concert's nice. HAHA, anyway here are some of the screen caps (I think I'm getting addicted in making caps) that I've taken. :D

How I've come to like MatsuJun, Toma, Yamapi, etc.

                  Okay. So i'll just say the reason on why I've liked these boys. It will be in ascending order, based on who I've liked first. haha. I have so many crushes but i'll just post the major ones.

1. Jun Matsumoto

                  MatsuJun's the first Japanese actor that I've seriously like. Ever since I've first saw him in Gokusen 1, the first instance that I've laid eyes on him, I was lovestruck. I even start (not only me, but a friend of mine also) text brigading my classmates to watch Gokusen, and it even led us to start this group called SSF (don't want to reveal the meaning, haha). I think he's the reason on why I've become a fangirl. My Jun madness started back on May 2006 and it lasted up to say October 2007. As of now, I am still his fan, but not that great anymore.

2. Ikuta Toma

                  How should I say this? Hmmm, the first time I've seen Toma, I hated him. HAHA, Toma lovers, please don't hate me okay? I mean I like TOMA. ^^

                  I've first seen him on Hana Yori Dango 2, he played Junpei (as you may know), at first I was really curious on how Junpei would look (I've read in forums that the actor, Toma, is gorgeous) when I've seen Toma for the first time (that was in April 2007), I was disappointed, I didn't find him handsome, plus his character in Hanadan is so hateable. The only part that I've find him cute is when he's done that Photoshoot  with Makino, but then after some time his character was revealed to be an antagonist, so no more for Toma.

                  Then, I've heard that there will be a Japanese version of Hana Kimi, and I've heard that Oguri Shun would be the lead, so I was excited, then I have started to wonder who would the other guy be, then it turns out that it would be TOMA, I was disappointed (again, sorry I  didn't like Toma back then). But I would still watch Hana Kimi because OguShun is there.

                    By December 2007, I have gotten my copy of Hana Kimi JP, during the first episode, I still hate Toma (gomen gomen ne). I thought that his character is an antagonist yet again but I know that nakatsu's good (for I've watched the TW version). And when someone spiked Mizuki's shoe, I thought it was Nakatsu, haha. And so I've watched, slowly I began to realize that I'm liking Ikuta Toma, he as Nakatsu is perfect, he has carried the Job well. I think I started to fall for him during the Star Festival thing, when he has passed all the tests. And when I've finished watching Hana Kimi, I've forgotten about OguShun, I was into Toma, and when I've rewatched Hana Kimi, that did it, I am convinced that Toma's my new found obsession. ^^

                 I still like Toma now, but he's only second to my third entry (you should know by now who am I talking about). But HE and TOMA is so close, I like them both but HE leads by a little.

3. Yamashita Tomohisa (Yamapi)

                  I have only known of Yamapi's existence when I've known Toma. I was searching for videos of Toma, when I've saw the clip of Toma and Yamapi singing Yokubou no Rain, by then I have a little knowledge of him and Toma being the best of friends but when I've researched about Yamapi, I was disappointed. I have found out that he and Toma have belonged to a group before but it was disbanded because Yamapi has joined a new group. And then I have watched TomaPi's performance when they were young and I was like, "Toma's a better singer than Yamapi". I was convincing myself that Toma's great, and I mean he's great and he sings better than Pi (I've noticed that), so I was saddened that Toma isn't a member of any group, when he should be because he's a versatile person, so in a way I hated Yamapi.

                 However, when I was searching some videos, I've come across Yamapi's video "Daite Senorita", and I don't know why that at that very instant, I've sorta liked him. So I tried to watch Nobuta Wo Produce, after watching it I'm still not that convince that he's that kawaii, so I watched Kurosagi (have only watched 2 episodes back then), after which I'm slowly liking him, then there's Proposal Daisakusen, after watching it I'm completely, irrevocably charmed by him (laughs hard). I can't explain why I've ended liking him but it can't be helped. And about the thing between Toma and Yamapi, they're still very good friends as of now, and I'm really happy that they care for each other so much.

So, I think I'll end my post, there are still other J-actors that I've liked, and as of the moment I'm eyeing Nishikido Ryo, hehe, there's this mysterious air around him that is drawing me nearer and nearer to him, I think I'm starting to like him. ^^

Anyway I would like to share this pic, a pic with Yamapi, Toma and Matsujun in it. (Am I correctly pointing to Yamapi in here, can't recognize the face clearly but I think it's Yamapi, and is Ryo in here? I can't recognize Ryo when he was young)

                 

Proposal Daisakusen SP

After almost 2 weeks of waiting for the subs to come out, I’ve finally watch Pro Dai’s SP, and I’m glad and crying. Sheez, I’m always crying. Why is it that I’m always crying everytime I watch Yamapi on a series, I think that shows how much I love him acting, and how effective his character is on me.

Synopsis



Okay, so I am not going to spoil everyone about what happened in the SP, I’ll just say the basic facts, facts that you can see on search engines.

Picking up from where the series ended, it’s been almost a year since the incident in the church happened (for those who have watched, you should know what I’m talking about, for those who haven’t, just watch the series first okay? ^^). But Rei and Ken’s relationship hasn’t progressed that much. Putting that aside, everyone is busy preparing for Tsuru and Eri’s wedding (in Hawaii), but then on the wedding day itself, Eri didn’t show up. Now it’s up to Ken to help fix his friend’s planned wedding. Will he use his “hallelujah chance” and will he and Rei finally have a proper ending??

Spoiler stops here. I have to hold myself to not blurt out the whole story. But I’m so tempted. Haha. :D

My Review

The SP’s so good. Really great. As I’ve said I have cried again, and is still crying. Damn, this is so beautiful. I am so touched at every scene, and one of the reasons on why I have cried is because of Tsuru, this guy is so nice, even though he’s not that good looking but I gotta give him the praise, he’s the man!.

Again, the story doesn’t only revolve on the two main characters, but the friendship of Ken Zou with his friends. I can’t talk much because there isn’t more to say, but I am a fan of Ken’s efforts in this Special. This story has made me cry, laugh and blush.

This drama’s ending is nice. Perfect ending, though I hope I have a glimpse of their w******. Plus, Hawaii’s so beautiful, such a romantic place. I especially like the thing about the shoes, haha, Ken’s so loveable, isn’t he?

Last Notes

It took me 2 and a half days to DL this, my internet's connection is so unpredictable, DL-ing this has kept me busy for the past few days.

One thing I’ve noticed while watching this is how Yamapi looked, he looks so haggard and thin, he’s so overworked these days, he should rest. Anyway, even though I’ve enjoyed watching this, I’m sad, because it will be the last time that I’ll see Ken zou and the rest. As a parting word:


Hallelujah Chance!

I have passed Math 53 and Chem 16.

         Yes, sa wakas parang nabunutan ako ng tinik. Yey, I've looked through my grades in the CRS and I've found out that I've passed Math 53 and Chem 16, yay!

        Not bad, considering that it was my first time to take calculus (we do not have that back in high school) and that I've failed two out of my three major exams in Chem 16. I've even managed to get a 2.25 grade in Chem (I'm happy!)

       However I know that I've failed my programming subject, even though it isn't officially announced yet, but I'll be shifting anyways. I'll save the drama when the result of my failure came. LOL, But right now, I'm so happy. WAHAHAHA

Waaa, babangon ako at dudurugin kita(TV Show) = naadik ako.

         Ay naku, dahil nakisabay akong manood nito kanina sa nanay ko (at first time ko itong mapanood), kaya nagakakaganito ako. Grabe, bumabalik na naman ang JC-Yasmien syndrome ko, as some of you may know, hindi ako fan ng mga pinoy teleserye, at hindi na din ako nanonood ng TV, pero there's an exemption. Sobrang fan talaga ako ng tandem nina Yasmien at JC as in sobra, at habang pinapanood ko yung episode kanina, bigla akong nainis kasi parang antagal pa bago magmeet ang characters nia, and yet again nagiging impatient na naman ako, tae gusto ko ng makita yung part na yun..

        Sa sobrang kadesperaduhan, hinanap ko na lang sa net ang dati nilang series, yung Pati Ba Pintig ng Puso, hay sobrang sobrang love ko yun, nakakainis nga lang kasi hindi ko siya napanood, apat na episodes lang ata napanood ko. Ang nakakainis pa nito ang hirap humanap ng video niya.. WAAAA, I'm growing impatient, siguro isasantabi ko muna yung mga pinapanood ko ngayun, I need to watch PBPNP. xP

        Wahahaha, tawagin niyo na kong corny, pero gusto ko talagang mapanood yun, does anybody know the link??? thanks.
