Crane Madness

 

            As the title suggests, we were definitely on Crane Madness last week, well, it’s my fault actually. I wanted to give 1000 paper cranes to a very special person for his 18^th birthday. This is the catch, I’ve only thought of making it on Wednesday night, and his birthday will be that Sunday. If you think about it, it is impossible for me to complete such a task, but luckily there are people who are willing to lend their hand (haha, I think it’s more of me coercing them). I’ve even posted an announcement, asking for help.

            Before I continue, I would like to thank the following people for helping me: BA 3^rd floor girls (esp. those who stayed late night), my roommate, Hanie, Joanna, Kat, Avi, Hazell, Bana, Bea, Gisella and the rest. The credit also goes to my Blockmates, Ceidge, Bennie, Benga, Bermie, Daniel, your help are definitely appreciated. If it weren’t for you guys, my plan wouldn’t be made possibe. Pasensya na kung napuyat kayo, o kaya’y hindi nakapakinig ng lesson dahil sakin.

            Enough of the roll call. Hmmmm, making those cranes has put me to my limit, bangag ako ng tatlong magkakasunod na araw. If you’ve only seen our room during those days, it’s worse than the Smokey Mountain (I’m a bit exaggerating in here, lol). Papers were everywhere, trashes here and there. You’ll also see my floormates looking extremely tired and haggard. Daig pa ang giyera pag nadako kayo sa room namin. Fortunately we’ve finish it by Friday midnight.

But even if making those cranes is difficult, I’m so so happy with the result. GAP was touched by what I did, and nothing ever compares with the feeling that I’ve made someone happy, especially someone I cared for. It’s definitely worth it. Not only that, by the course of that three days, our floor sort of bonded. Especially during the last night, we even eat together. That scene has brought me crying inside, if I’ve touched someone’s life, THEY’ve also touched mine, I didn’t expect that they would whole heartedly help me, sheez. LOVE ko talaga kayo girls. ^^ Maraming maraming salamat.

And after Saturday, our “madness” was put to a stop.
