The sequel to Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight. When I’ve started reading it, I’ve prepared myself to be disappointed. As I’ve said on my previous review, I’ve read its summary and I’m not eager on how things will turn out.

One thing I don’t like about this book is Edward’s absence on most parts of the story. Let’s face it, Twilight isn’t complete without him. What I mean is what’s the point in all this if one of the protagonists is absent? Someone may have replaced him, but it isn’t enough. I’ve read on some groups over the internet that they’ve found that New Moon is better, however majority of them are Jacob lovers, they like Jacob up to the point that they hated Edward. Oh c’mon, I know Edward’s at fault for leaving Bella, but honestly, they should understand him. I have no grudges against Jacob, I’m even thankful that he cheered Bella up, but Edward’s for Bella and Bella’s for Edward. End of story. Though I kind of pity Jacob for having his heart broken, but that’s the way it is, someone has to give way. I can’t imagine if Bella ended up with Jacob at the end of the series, maybe I’d forever banished Twilight from my memory (just joking). I’ll stick with Edward till the end. Vampires rock (more than werewolves do, lol)

Well, I’m through about the part that I don’t like. Looking at it at another perspective, New Moon is worth the time, I was truly engrossed in reading it. Perhaps addicted is the right term, I don’t have a copy of the book, I’m just reading it over my laptop, can you just imagine how my eyes have been tired for hours just to read the book? I can’t stop myself, it’s as if there’s a magnet attached to it that I can’t get away from. And I think that magnet would be Edward, I’m so looking forward to finally see him appear again. My favorite part would be the one were in Bella rushed to Italy just to save Edward from ‘killing’ himself. It’s touching and funny at the same time.
